The journal publishes reports of clinical and experimental work in all aspects of research in  the fields of Critical Care Medicine, provided they have scientific merit and represent an important advance in knowledge. The journal does not publish material that has been printed previously or is under consideration for publication elsewhere. The Editor will consider papers from any country whether or not the author(s) is a member of the society.

The ESCCEM is the national Egyptian society of critical care & emergency medicine, in partnership with the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine – ESCIM, with a leadership role propagating the science of CCM nationally & regionally.

The journal is proud to have among its editorial board a selected group of national, regional & international multidisciplinary figures interested in the field of critical care, helping in publishing state of the art researches, comprehensive reviews, reports & regional guidelines.

Our mission is to propagate & contribute with high quality scientific publications in the science of critical care medicine, regionally; in the Middle East, Africa, Arab World & internationally.

The Critical Care Medicine Journal / is an open source journal, peer reviewed, operated by the OJS scientific publications system, compliant with the code of conduct and best practice guidelines for editors (COPE, ICMJE, and CSE).
